Mr. Wang Xiaobing, with a Master’s Degree, started his career in July 1987. He has long been engaged in rural policy studies, crop production management, reform of the administrative procedures for examination and approval, performance management, as well as promotion of ICT in agriculture and rural areas, with a special focus on market-oriented agriculture and agricultural informatization. He once served as Division Director of the Department of Crop Production, Deputy Director General of the General Office, and Deputy Director General of the Department of Market and Informatization of China’s Ministry of Agriculture (MOA). He is now a researcher and Director General of the Information Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China (MARA).
